Southside Church of the Nazarene
Celebrating 75 years!
This year Southside Church of the Nazarene is celebrating it’s 75
th
Anniversary. In 1950 a group of believers were burdened to reach
their community with the good news of Jesus and the difference He
can make in our lives. That year they held a tent revival that lasted
40 days. At the conclusion of the forty days, they moved a country
church in to Minot from Van Hook. This became the home of
Southside Church for the next thirty years. In 1980 the church
relocated to its present site south of the 2 &52 bypass right behind
Wallworks truck center. It has been the goal of Southside church to
share Christ with others through the years. This year we want to
step up our commitment to share Christ with our community as we
celebrate 75 years. Our theme this year is “Blessed to be a Blessing”.
With that in mind we are doing a gas giveaway on March 1
st
at the
Cenex on Broadway. We will be paying .75 cents on every gallon up
to 30 gallons per vehicle from 11:00 to 4:00. We just want to be a
blessing. We are planning other events throughout the year, come
join us as we journey together.
